Preface: lung cancer in never smokers

This focused edition of the journal highlights lung cancer in never smokers. While tobacco exposure is the major cause of lung cancer worldwide (about 80% of cases), an important subset of cases occurs in lifetime never smokers (LCNS), ranking LCNS as one of the top 7 or 8 causes of cancers worldwide.
