Shengxiang Ren is a medical oncologist who works at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital in Shanghai, China. He is Associate Professor at Tongji University and Vice Director at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital.
After graduating from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology with First Class Honor in 2002, he began to work as an intern/resident at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital. In 2013, he obtained his PhD from Tongji University School of Medicine.
Dr. Ren now specializes in interventional penumology and medical thoracic oncology and has a particular interest in individual therapy for lung cancer. He is a vice header of interventional section in the Shanghai Medical Association Respiratory Branch and Youth Committee Member in Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association. He is a member of the CTONG Trials Group and participant of more than 20 multi-center clinical trials. His major research interest is in individual therapy in Non-small-cell-lung-cancer. He already published more than 50 papers, which includ 14 papers as first or corresponding author in international peer-reviewed journals.
